As always, it has been a busy week at Carolina Day.
Here's just a sampling of some of what you might have missed.

Last week the sixth graders and their first-grade buddies got together in the courtyard to share some funny times. They did some dance moves, read some original poetry, and played some games. Older students are matched with younger buddies beginning with the fourth grade and their PK buddies. These matches continue throughout the middle school with each class of both younger and older students moving up to the next grade until the eighth graders have third-grade buddies. And for some of these students, they keep the same buddies all those years.

With state playoffs upon us, it was time for the middle and upper school students to come together in the Nash Athletic Center to make some noise in a rousing pep rally. The usual shenanigans took place as hundreds of kids did their best to energize our athletic teams.
Check the athletic web site for news from this week's team play.
