As always, it has been a busy week at Carolina Day.
Here's just a sampling of some of what you might have missed.

The Middle School decided to wake kids up last Friday by having a pajama day. Many of the students and most of the teachers came "right out of bed." The students thought that would be the end of their excitement for the day, but they were surprised to find teachers cooking up platters of pancakes.

The fifth grade is busy at work with their second issue of Carolina Kids' News. These four are the newest set of editors.

The Key School now has a "book club." Here are a few students (and a teacher) giving a book talk.

(The above picture "was" an actual photograph "touched up" in PhotoShop.) There is no need to adjust your monitor.

You know it is "100-Mile Club" season when you see lots of students using recess and break time running laps around the athletic fields. These students are challenging themselves to run (or walk) 100 miles between now and the middle of spring. The students who persevere will be recognized at the Lower School Commendations Ceremony at the end of the year. Third through fifth graders participate in this voluntary event.
