As always, it has been a busy week at Carolina Day.
Here's just a sampling of some of what you might have missed.

Middle school students are busy rehearsing for their upcoming musical production of "Annie, Jr." The morning performance for students is Thursday, February 2 and the evening performance for parents, friends, and the community is Friday, February 3.

Make plans to attend and see all of your favorite characters come to life-Annie, Daddy Warbucks, and Sandy the dog!

These photos are from yesterday's rehearsal.

And before the greasepaint has even been applied to the middle school players, the upper school theatre department is already getting props ready for their late February musical production of "Kiss Me Kate."

These upper school theatre students were on the stage this week cleaning up and gathering items needed for their show which runs February 22-24.

First graders celebrated Mexican Fiesta Day right before the holiday break as a “Terrific Tuesday” activities day. The children made Mayan houses and landscapes, cut and assembled poinsettias, ate salsa and chips, and made individual piñatas. These activities reinforced the facts learned in their study of American ancient civilizations and present day Mexico.
