Quick Pix As always, it has been a busy few days at Carolina Day. It has been the girls getting to do the drumming in the Key Middle School this week. They've taken their show outside and have added a new beat to the sounds of the afternoon. Drumming is part of the Talents program in the Key.
It was Picture Day at CDS on Tuesday. It's quite an undertaking to take beautiful pictures of 671 students and over 100 faculty and staff in one day. It took three photographers and a lot of patience to complete the job. Yearbook advisor Phyllis Armstrong is shown helping one senior get ready for his official senior portrait.
This has been Spirit Week across the School. The Middle and Upper Schools have had special dress-up events each day in hopes of revving up spirit to a fever pitch for our games against cross-town rival Asheville School tomorrow afternoon. The events actually started in the Middle School last Friday with a cookout and the presentation of "spirit" bracelets.
And here's a look at some of this week's Spirit Week activities.
Pirates, ninjas, and cowboys were all over the place yesterday.
Today is "Disney character" day. See if you can guess who these kids are portraying?
No clue? Well, we're sure you'll guess this last one.
Okay, maybe it isn't all that obvious. It's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. But wait, there's more. The Upper School was not to be outdone this week.
