As always, it has been a busy few days at Carolina Day.
Here's just a sampling of some of what you might have missed.

On Tuesday the lady Wildcats varsity soccer team took on Carolina Friends School in regional soccer playoffs. A big crowd was on hand to cheer on the Cats. These four are just a representative sample of the big crowd.

These upper school guys show their school spirit and help cheer on the crowd.

It was a tough game. In the end, Carolina Day lost in overtime to the team from Durham. Just wait 'til next year!

The Lower School held its annual field day last Friday. Here are a few shots showing some of the excitement.

Lower School Field Day.

A student band of ninth graders performed for the student body at an outdoor concert this Tuesday. Students came in shifts and enjoyed their lunch while listening to some home-grown music.

Students in Mrs. Tina Evans' third-grade language tutorial class are shown with parent volunteer Melanie Pace making mobiles of stingrays. The mobiles will be a visual part of their presentation on a report the students have researched and written on stingrays. Did you know that some stingrays can weigh as much as an elephant?

These Key students are proud of their Mother's Day flower pots.

We could not get to the end of the year without republishing this photo. This one single photo has had more requests this year than any other photograph. (Okay, I'll have to admit it was just one request—but don't you just love this picture?) This is a real rabbit, by the way.

The Key School recently had a landscaping makeover with lots of help from Key parents, teachers, facilities support staff, and other friends of the Key. Mike McCue designed, built, painted, and installed this wonderful new sign which now greets students and visitors as they first arrive. Thanks Mike. And thanks to all the parents, students, and staff who helped with the Key School beautification day.

Parting Snaps...

No telling what these Key School boys were up to?

And here's the photo some think we should use in a future CDS advertisement. Is it Friday yet? Is it summer yet?
