8th grade:

The students are working on a drawing project using a grid.  They are studying painter Chuck Close.  They are suppose to be drawing and then painting someone they KNOW, admire, and who also know them.

Photography:

Take lots of Photos! and bring in your B/W film to develop in the art room!!

7th Grade:

What is a metamorphosis?

The students finished their spirit animals paintings.  They are now studying MC Escher and will draw a design inspired by his work.

 

 

6th Grade:

The students finished their name designs and are now working on their Cartoon Card.  There are now 7 years worth of Cartoon cards in the art room.  Come see them sometime!

There are always two objectives that are always the same for each project:

1. Contrast- stands out from a distance.

2. Neat and Clear.

Effort! Behavior!! Helpfulness!!! Problem Solving and confidence are the Keys to a great year in Art!!!! See you in the ART Room!!!!!!!
