EXPECTATIONS IN MATH AND SCIENCE CLASSES

Student responsibilities:

I will be responsible by coming to class prepared, putting materials back in their place, and seeking extra help when needed.

I will communicate, cooperate, work well with others, and be a contributing member of the class.

I will be respectful by paying attention, following directions, and displaying appropriate behaviors.

I will put forth my best effort and not give up when I become frustrated.

  1. Focus in class on your work
  2. Thoroughly complete your homework on time
  3. Show work neatly
  4. Ask for help when confused.  Do not give up.
  5. Prepare for tests early by keeping up with your daily assignments.
  6. If you are a member of a team, do your share or more.
  7. Follow directions carefully in all your work.  Re-read directions several times before asking for help.
  8. With written work, thoroughly develop your ideas before turning in the final draft.
