In 1997, the Key School was established as a model school for bright students with learning differences.

The Visual Arts at Carolina Day School

Carolina Day School is proud of our visual arts teachers and programs. Each division has a large studio fully equipped for the teaching of a variety of media. The Middle School and Upper School studios house photographic darkrooms, and all divisions have kilns. Our art students continually win recognition in the Scholastic Arts Awards program.
